Fight Seasonal Allergies With Intellipure
Having a house full of allergy sufferers this time of year is generally not a pleasant experience. Historically Fall and Spring are the worst for my family. Both my husband and son suffer from seasonal allergies as well as asthma. While I can’t do anything for the outdoor allergens, I can do my part to keep inside our home allergy free. That means constant dusting vacuuming and cleaning to combat indoor allergens. I make sure to change out the filters in our heating system and anything else I can do to minimize the allergens in our home. For years, I’ve overlooked the air in our home, not realizing that I could make a change for the better there as well. I was recently introduced to Intellipure and after learning more about the company and what they offer, I knew this is just what my family needed.
more When our Intellipure Ultrafine 468 arrived, I couldn’t wait to set it up. The unit combats all three pollutant categories – micro-organisms, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and particles. When I read some of the facts on the unit and what it can do, I knew it would be beneficial to our family.

Some of my favorite features of the Intellipure Ultrafine 468:
  • It captures 99.99% of airborne particles down to .007 microns in size. This includes ultrafine particles
  • The unit is 40x more efficient than HEPA filtration standards
  • It’s fairly quiet when it’s running and after the first day no one noticed it was running in the background
  • With the sleep mode option, the unit only uses 1 watt per hour when on low or sleep mode
  • Removes airborne odors
Since we have a fairly open floor plan downstairs in between our living room and kitchen and that’s where we spend the bulk of our time, that’s where I placed the unit. Each unit is assembled by hand so I trust that my unit was built with attention to detail and not just built by a machine on an assembly line. Each unit comes with a Certification of Efficiency that provides the unit’s unique efficient rating upon testing. It is signed by one of Intellipure’s trained professionals and no unit is passed unless the efficiency rating is at least 99.99% to verify their superiority to standard HEPA filtration efficiency of 99.97%. The unit is sleek and streamlined and blends in with my decor. In fact, most people don’t even realize it’s there. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 92% of the world’s population breathes polluted air and more than half of the people in the U.S. live in countries that have unhealthly levels of air pollutions, putting them at risk for adverse health effects like asthma attacks and many more serious conditions. Having an indoor air purifier like Intellipure Ultrafine 468 combats those effects.

EPA RECOMMENDATIONS

  • Dilute the air when possible
  • Remove the source of pollution
  • Clean the air with a portable, high-end air purifier
Overall we’re extremely happy with the unit. While my husband and son still experienced their yearly allergy symptoms, I’ve definitely noticed their symptoms are not as bad as they have been in years past. I feel a sense of relief knowing I’m doing everything I can to help ease their symptoms and provide a clear air environment for my family. Top - Control Panel

UNIT MAINTENANCE

Aside from replacing the filters, the unit is pretty maintenance free.
  • VOC pre-filter needs to be replaced every 6 months
  • Main filter needs to be replaced every 12 months
  • VOC post-filter needs to be replaced every 6 months
