What are the controls on my Compact unit?

Your Intellipure Compact Unit has several different controls that you can use to have your air purifier operate to meet your needs.

  • POWER Button: Turns the unit on and changes the fan speed setting.
  • Indicator Lights: 
    • LOW: The unit is running at a low speed.
    • MED: The unit is running at a medium speed.
    • HIGH: The unit is running at a high speed.
    • TURBO: The unit is running at the highest speed — use for speed cleaning.

How do I engage sleep mode on my Compact unit?

The Intellipure Compact features a sleep mode that dims the main lighting after a set period of time. If your Compact Unit was manufactured in late 2020 or 2021, the unit will automatically go into sleep mode after it is turned on and running for one minute.


What is the Compact's cleaning capacity?

The Intellipure Compact Air Purifier has a cleaning capacity of up to 500 square feet. This makes it a great option for your bedroom, small living area, office space, classroom, and other indoor areas.

Tip: You can also, get an Intellipure Compact with a wall mount to get it up off the floor safe from damage.


How much does the Compact unit cost?

You can order an Intellipure Compact Unit with or without a wall mount for any of your small indoor spaces. Without a wall mount, the Compact Unit costs $549.00, and, with the wall mount, the Compact Unit costs $589.00. For more information on this air purifier, click here!


What's in the Compact box?

Each order of the Intellipure Compact includes:

  • Six-stage pre-filter and a main filter shipped inside the unit for safety

If you receive your Intellipure Compact Unit and one or more of these pieces are missing, please contact us for replacements before trying to use your unit. If you need help setting up your Compact, refer to our step-by-step guide.

Tip: Before starting up your Intellipure® Compact - open the front cover and take off the plastic around the pre-filter. This plastic helps prevent any issues during shipping.

How do I set up my Compact?

You’ve received your Intellipure Compact Unit, now it is time to get it set up!

To set up your new Intellipure Compact, carefully remove your unit from the carton and take off the dust bag that covers it. The dust bag prevents scratches and damage to the unit during transportation and is no longer needed.

Next, remove the plastic wrap on the pre-filter and insert it back into the unit with the airflow and filter description facing up. Each unit comes equipped with one pre-filter and one main filter that will get you started on your journey to cleaner air.

Find a dry and cool place to plug in your unit and remember: the unit is a plug-and-play design meant for indoor use only. Before powering on your unit, be sure to take off the magnetic front cover by using the two bottom tabs on each side of the unit — simply pull out and lift.

Finally, inspect the unit’s power cord for damage. If the power cord is damaged, please contact our customer service department to obtain a replacement. If the power cord is intact, plug in your unit and begin enjoying exceptionally clean air!


How much power does it take to run the Compact Unit?

The power consumption of the Intellipure Compact Unit ranges from 9 to 65 watts depending on the fan speed you are using. Each Energy Star-rated unit is designed with a super-efficient EC motor that allows the unit to operate for less than $5 per month!


How does the Intellipure® Compact filter subscription work?

When you sign up for our replacement filter subscription program, changing your Intellipure Compact filters is made easy! Simply place your subscription order, make each of the 12 monthly payments, and you will receive a new annual set of Intellipure Compact replacement filters that can be used for one full year. Each set of Compact replacement filters includes two pre-filters and one main filter

Tip: Not only does buying a subscription automate your filters, but it also saves you money.


How much do filters for the Compact unit cost?

The price of our air purifier replacement filters varies based on which filter set or single filter replacement you are ordering.

We also offer the Annual Compact Filter Set to provide you with a complete set of replacement filters to help you keep your air clean and your Compact unit fully functional. For any questions about which filter you need to replace or a filter order you have placed, contact our team.

Compact filter replacement and maintenance

Replacing the Pre-Filter 

⚠️  Caution: Always disconnect power to the unit before servicing

  1. First, make sure all power to the unit is shut off.
  2. Open the front panel, using the side tabs located on the lower panel, and pull towards you, then lift upwards.
  3. Remove the 6-stage pre-filter. The pre-filter can be cleaned monthly by using a small vacuum cleaner wand.

Based on typical use, we recommend replacing this filter every 6 months. 

Replacing the Main Filter

⚠️  Caution: Always disconnect power to the unit before servicing

  1. First, make sure all power to the unit is shut off.
  2. Remove the pre-filter by using a screwdriver. Remove the 2 screws holding the filter in place.
  3. Remove and discard the old main filter. Slide the new main filter into place and secure the main filter with the two screws. 
  4. Reinstall the pre-filter and the front cover. To reset the DFS indicator, turn the unit to medium speed and press the power button for 5 seconds.
  5. When the DFS indicator quickly flashes 3 times, the DFS timer is successfully reset.

Based on typical use, we recommend replacing this filter every 12 months. 

Cleaning the High Energy Grid 

⚠️  Caution: Always disconnect power to the unit before servicing

  1. Follow the steps (above) of the filter replacement to remove the filters.
  2. Replace them if needed. Use a pipe cleaner or small vacuum to gently clean the wires on the high-energy grid.

Compact routine care and maintenance

Maintaining your Intellipure Compact filter with proper care is crucial to ensuring your unit runs smoothly and effectively cleans your indoor air. Your filter maintenance schedule should be based on the pollution area in your level because filters in units that operate in heavily polluted areas need to be replaced and cleaned more often. 

For most environments, you should replace your pre-filter every 6 months and your main filter every 9 to 12 months. The unit’s high-energy grid should be cleaned with a lint-free cloth every 3 months. Read our instructions on how to replace your Compact Air Purifier filters for proper installation!


What are the dimensions and weight of the Compact unit?

The Intellipure Compact Unit weighs only 17 pounds and has total dimensions of 20” x 8.75” x 13”. This makes the Compact air purifier easy to move around your space and even travel with!
