Do Intellipure air purifiers produce EMF?
This is comparable to other common household items* with below average and low EMF ratings.
For comparison, here are a few examples and their EMF levels:
- Electric Shavers - 0.4-10 mG
- Hair Dryer - 0.1-10 mG
- Can Opener - 3-30 mG
- Electric Range - 0.2-9 mG
- Microwave Oven - 1-30 mG
- Television - 0.1-8 mG
- Computer Terminal - 1-3 mG
Background levels (the levels we are all commonly exposed to) usually range between 0.1 and 4 milligauss.

Do Intellipure products use PCO or UV?
None of our air purifiers or Whole Home Solutions use photocatalytic oxidation (PCO) or ultraviolet (UV) bulbs.
Does Intellipure have Bluetooth, WiFi, or other smart home features?
Yes, the H1000 is WiFi and smart feature enabled.
Does Intellipure use hydroxyl or other chemical agents to clean the air?
No, none of our systems use any chemical cleaners or add anything to the air. At Intellipure, we value your Indoor Air Quality and strive to remove pollutants in the environment without adding anything other than pure, clean air.
What is a micron?
A micron, also known as (µm), is a small unit of measurement for length. It is another name for micrometer, which is one-thousandth of a millimeter, or, one-millionth of a meter. Airborne particles are usually described in microns.
The human eye can see debris and dust particles that are as small as approximately 25 microns in size. Particles smaller than 0.3 microns — much too small to see — are considered to be ultrafine particles. These smaller particles enter the body and travel through the bloodstream. They penetrate deep into the lungs and can potentially cause inflammation, heart disease, brain disease, and exacerbate pre-existing conditions. Children, elderly people, and people with lung problems like asthma are especially vulnerable.

Can Intellipure air purifiers help improve air impacted by wildfire smoke?
Yes — Intellipure air purifiers are effective at removing particles and airborne chemicals that are created by wildfire smoke.
Wildfire smoke primarily consists of water vapor, ultrafine particles, and dangerous gases. These gases include carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxide, and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). The composition of wildfire smoke can vary based on changes like the temperature, what is burning, and the wind. According to the EPA, smoke from wildfires in the United States adversely affects air quality and potentially puts people at health risk from smoke exposure.
Do Intellipure air purifiers help with larger particles, like pet dander?
Yes —Intellipure air purifiers work great to reduce the amount of pet dander, hair, and odors that accumulate in your home! By eliminating these harmful particles, you are creating an environment where you and your loved ones can breathe easily without constantly being triggered by indoor air pollutants like pet allergens.
How effective are Intellipure air purifiers at removing odors from the air?
Intellipure air purifiers are very effective at removing odors from the air. Our innovative Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) adsorption filters are custom-made to remove fumes, solvents, cleaners, and other VOCs. We designed our VOC granular material to maximize airflow for the effective and efficient operation of your air purification unit.
Do Intellipure air purifiers produce ozone?
As part of our mission to make the world a better and safer place, we believe that air purifiers should not only perform well but also be built right with rigorous standards like Intertek Zero Ozone.
Many of our portable air purifiers are certified with the Zero Ozone Verification by Intertek and are a part of the Intertek Sustainability Program. This means that our air purifiers are certified to deliver clean air in all your spaces without producing harmful ozone. You can find more information about the certification by searching the Intertek Sustainability Directory.
Will my Intellipure air purifier work if I place it in a room with a dehumidifier?
Yes — your Intellipure air purifier will work if placed in the same room as a dehumidifier. However, for best results, we recommend that you don't place them directly next to each other. Learn more about air purifier best practices by clicking here.
Will using an Intellipure air purifier make my air smell different?
When using an Intellipure air purifier, you may notice that your air smells fresher than it did before. Your indoor air can be 5 to 100 times more polluted when not using an air purifier. When those pollutants are removed from your environment, you experience nothing but clean fresh air.
