Intellipure Donates 70,000 Intellipure Compact Air Purifiers to Baby2B

Air Purifier Donation in Response to Los Angeles Fires, Donation Supports Children and Families in Need

Intellipure, a leader in innovative air purification solutions, today announced a donation of 70,000 Intellipure Compact air purifiers to Baby2Baby, a nonprofit organization that provides essential items to children living in poverty across the country. This donation is in direct response to the recent Los Angeles fires and the urgent need to protect vulnerable children from harmful air pollutants.

Since January 7, Baby2Baby has distributed over 9 million emergency supplies including diapers, food, formula, water, clothing, blankets and hygiene products, to children and families impacted by the devastation. "We saw the intense need following the devastating wildfires and felt compelled to answer the call," said Dan Phalen, HealthWay's Chief Executive Officer, parent company of Intellipure. "Our hope is that these Intellipure Compact air purifiers will provide clean, safe air for children, helping them stay well and return to their school routines. We are delivering the air purifiers over the next 30 days to ensure they reach those who need them most."

"We are incredibly grateful for Intellipure's extraordinary donation of 70,000 air purifiers which will significantly impact the lives of children and families affected by the Los Angeles fires,” said Baby2Baby Co-CEOs Norah Weinstein and Kelly Sawyer Patricof. “Air purifiers are consistently one of the most requested items from families we serve across Los Angeles and this generous donation will help Baby2Baby ensure tens of thousands of children have access to safe and clean air. Our team is deeply committed to helping our hometown rebuild and we will continue providing essentials to impacted families in the months and years ahead.”

The Intellipure Compact air purifiers utilize HealthWay’s proprietary Disinfecting Filter System (DFS) technology, capturing up to 99.99% of particles at .007 micron, including harmful viruses, mold, fungi, bacteria, and ultrafine particles. While the Los Angeles area wildfires are now out, the after effects will linger in the air for months. This donation will provide critical protection for the children served by Baby2Baby, ensuring they have access to clean and safe air during this traumatic time.

Outside In: How Your Yard Affects Your Indoor Air Quality

Outside In: How Your Yard Affects Your Indoor Air Quality

Counterintuitively, a big part of maintaining good indoor air quality (IAQ) is being more mindful of the air outside your home. That's because half of what's in the air outside can make its way inside [1][1].

From pollen and mold spores to pesticides and other lawn treatments, lots of different outdoor contaminants find their way into the air you breathe when you're chilling on the couch, eating lunch at the kitchen table, or even tucked under the covers in bed.

Summer Staples That Threaten Clean Indoor Air

Summer Staples That Threaten Clean Indoor Air

Summer is all about getting outside and having fun, but for many families, it also means a rush of indoor air pollutants that go largely unnoticed.

From sunscreen sprays to insect repellents to beachy scented candles, the products we use to help us enjoy summer can measurably degrade our indoor air quality (IAQ). Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from these everyday items can accumulate to concentrations much higher indoors than outdoors, triggering everything from mild irritation to more serious long-term health consequences [1][1]

The Smoky Side of Summer

The Smoky Side of Summer

Grills firing up. Fireworks cracking overhead. Citronella candles glowing on the patio. Personally, I'm excited for the festivities. But some of summer's most familiar moments come with a little smoke.

We usually think of these as outdoor activities, which makes them feel separate from the air inside our homes. But your indoor air doesn't exist in a hermetically-sealed bubble. Smoke can drift through open doors, screened porches, cracked windows, attached garages, and nearby air intakes. And once those tiny particles make their way inside, they can linger longer than the fun.

Big emotions are a regular part of childhood, but kids don't always know how to manage them without support. Sleep Better With Cleaner Air

Sleep Better With Cleaner Air

You've probably heard a lot of common tidbits of sleep advice before: Dim the lights. Put your phone away. Keep the room cool. Avoid caffeine too late in the day.
